Stealing Listeners from Spotify

The Ask

Apple Music Radio has had a slow adoption rate inside it’s own platform. It suffers from a lack of recognition, brand awareness and users do not know it’s already included with their Apple Music subscription. AMR came to us to help raise the profile and awareness of the hosts on its platform ranging from Zane Lowe and Ebro to Ward Geunther and Ty Bentli.

The Work

We met with 12 of the hosts on their platform, audited their current social media channels and presented new strategic and creative directions for how they could grow their presence and resonate with existing and new audiences on Twitter, Instagram and TikTok.

The Results

At the end of the program in totality we generated increases in followers and engagement rates across multiple platforms.

Instagram saw an increase in 94K followers and a 91% growth in engagement rate.

TikTok saw an increase in 335K followers and an increase of 56% in engagement rate.

Twitter saw their followings drop 20K, but a rise of 72% in engagement rate.
